What a Day! #NBTOD + Competition Winners Announced!

First things first: Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday 3rd April! Our first soiree into exhibiting at the Northern Business Technology Open Day was a huge success all round; from the logistics and operating to the number of great companies and people we connected with.

If you attended and would like to find out more, or couldn’t make it and wish you had, why not hop over to our Technology pages where you can read more about the services we offer such as Managed Print Services, or Document Processing & Data Capture. For a brief run down on the range products we offer simply click here.

We would also like to thank the teams from Abbyy & Canon UK who supported us on the day, and especially Dan Wucherpfennig & Andy Cunningham who worked hard to present some great seminars for us! We’ve had some fantastic feedback from the delegates who attended, so let us know if you would like more information from those sessions & we’ll get it to you!

If you didn’t attend the day, the above image won’t mean a lot. By way of explanation: we ran a couple of competitions on our stand during the day. Firstly; Space Invaders (yep, like the kind you used to play on as a kid), and also the fairly predictable “Guess-the-number-of-paper-clips-in-the-jar” game. So, without further ado here are our winners!:

Lee Gilbank from Smoothwall !
With a top score of 860, Lee is the winner of a either a morning’s pamper session for two at Oaks Spa, Aughton, OR a fourball golf day at Headingley Golf Club. One of our Account Managers will be in touch with Lee to organise his prize!

With a confirmed cargo of 1,900 Paperclips in our jar, the winners of our competition are
Andy Walker of Dudleys Structural & Civil Consultants with his guess of 1,876, and Ian Wildman of SDV Escalators Ltd with his guess of 1,863.
Our pledge was to award one winner for each half of the day (as we knew some people would only be attending for half of the time). Congratulations to both Andy & Ian, who win a bottle of Champagne each!

We also have six runners up, each winning a bottle of wine. These are as follows:
Richard Burnett of C3 Tax: 2,000
Darren Mitchinson of Fluorochem: 1,800
Dean Hall of Fast Forward Technology: 2,014
Paul Fenwick of GFI Max: 1,616
Jane Devine of Towne Lifting: 1,500
Adrian Millard of Kinyo UK Ltd: 2,500

All the above winners will be contacted by one of our Account Managers to organise delivery of prizes.

We’d love to hear your feedback about the day – we are looking to build on our success for NBTOD 2015 so please let us know your thoughts on what would make the experience better!
