Invest In Newcastle
If we’ve not already shouted about this enough, we have opened up a new North East HQ in Newcastle (hurrah!). We really wanted to mark the occasion with a bit of a do. But – we thought – people are busy enough without attending just another drinks evening, it needs to be useful… (*cogs turning, ideas generating).
So, on 24th April 2013, we are hosting Invest in Newcastle: a business to business networking and discussion evening focused on the local economy, and opportunities in construction & property.
Confirmed so far is Rosie Smith, North East Agent for the Bank of England who will be the first to present her findings on the local economy. As she says:
“I am the eyes, ears and mouthpiece of the bank in the region. The role involves talking to people, businesses, organisations and some public sector bodies about the economy, how it is affecting them”
Rosie is brilliantly placed to give us a picture of the economy in the North East.
We will be confirming further property and construction experts to make up our panel in the coming weeks, and the mix should be enough to get a lively debate going. Of course, we will be opening up the discussion to our guests who will no doubt have some strong opinions too!
