The Client:
Calibre Search is a specialist recruitment consultancy operating in four specialist sectors within Leeds, Manchester and London.

The Brief:
Calibre Search wanted to move from their original office site in Burley to a city centre space in Leeds. After selecting Victoria Wharf they approached Ben Johnson Ltd to help with the design and refurbishment of the period property. With plans to double its staff numbers in the next year, Calibre’s new space required efficient planning to maximise capacity for growth, yet remain fun and inviting to attract and retain employees.

The Solution:
The final interior scheme has a very neutral foundation, with furniture and branding performing the “feature” role.
Simple Elite cantilever desks in white were used throughout, with glazed red desktop screens giving a pop of colour. A simple waiting area was created with coordinated red soft seating and a branded wall. After plenty of time testing task chairs, the client selected an ergonomic mesh-back chair from Senator.
Finally, by investing in a Boss Apollo boardroom table with chrome and leather chairs, Calibre ensured they are creating the right impression in this important meeting space.
