What Darren does: Darren’s role consists of servicing a portfolio of over 150 customers ensuring they receive the best value for money and an unrivalled level of service. Darren is also focused on bringing new business to Ben Johnson Ltd by performing account reviews for a variety of SME’s and large corporate companies ensuring they achieve cost efficiency and service levels for their office supplies procurement.
Darren’s Expertise: Prior to joining Ben Johnson Ltd, Darren worked in the financial services industry holding positions such as Senior Underwriter and Lending officer for some of Yorkshires top finance houses. Darren gained many transferable skills and a love of going that extra mile for every customer, enabling a seamless move into a sales-focused role. Darren has performed office supplies reviews for companies across all sectors including Berwin & Berwin, Lincoln & York Ltd, and Stromberg Menswear paying particular attention to matching our service to their needs and facilitating a hassle-free change of supplier.
Something you should know about Darren: Darren loves all sports; in particular Football and Golf were he has held a single figure handicap for a number of years. However, having completed the Great North Run in 2010 Darren echoes Sir Steve Redgrave: “If you ever see me in a pair of running shoes again you have my permission to shoot me”.
