Gama Healthcare is a world leader in the manufacture and development of infection control products for the healthcare sector. The company moved to new premises earlier in the year and turned to Yorkshire-based Ben Johnson Interiors to give their new workplace the “wow factor” .

And we certainly managed to do that. So impressive was the end result, that not one, but three local business publications have now featured Gama’s new office.
The respected Yorkshire Business Desk ran a prominent item on 30 April closely followed by B Daily the next day and the story was finally followed up by the Halifax Courier on 2 May . In addition, numerous, national facilities and workplace publications offered to run the story with images as a showcase feature.
Gama wanted the interiors, furniture and fittings of their new workplace to reflect the quality of their products. They were keen to achieve a modern, comfortable yet practical look to their new facility, with informal collaboration areas, multiple private meeting rooms, breakout areas, and large boardroom on the ground floor, with desk areas on the first floor. The entire workplace was to represent impeccable quality – to reflect the high standards of Gama’s healthcare products. Similarly, all workplace furniture was to be of the very best – and appropriate for an innovative global company. The boardroom in particular was to convey distinction and style whilst also offering a flexible space for training. Training forms a large part of Gama’s work and the company frequently conducts hospital and health infection control workshops and demonstrations on its premises.

So, no pressure then – but then this type of exacting brief is all in a day’s work for the experienced Ben Johnson Interiors designers, furniture buyers and fitters. We managed to achieve exactly what the company wanted – on time and on budget – and with a smile too!
