Ben Johnson Recruitment are currently working with an FMCG business based in North Yorkshire looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly, finance team. They have grown significantly within the last 15 years investing in new niche products and overseas sites. This is a key role providing support to the UK and overseas.
Key areas of focus:
- Deal with all aspects of sales and purchase ledger insuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Raise purchase ledger payments
- Provide support to the Account Manager
- General admin support
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who has proven purchase ledger/sales ledger experience and has a min of AAT level 2/3 qualification. You will benefit from supporting the Accounts Manager on a day to day basis where there will be opportunity to acquire new skills. Experience of Sage would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the sector there is a requirement to work flexibly to support business needs in a 3 week shift pattern. This role is based on the outskirts of York (East) and will require someone who drives and is able to be on site.
