As one of the UK’s leading professional recruitment consultancies, Eden Brown has been placing specialists within the built environment arena for over 25 years.

With a booming local job market The Human Capital Investment Group Ltd found themselves looking for new offices for two of their recruitment companies: Eden Brown & Synergy. Although part of the same group, the space had to be split into two separate offices with a shared waiting and client facility. The project challenges included keeping to budget whilst providing a solution that allowed for future growth.

The Solution

We provided a split-office solution allowing both branches to maintain their individual brand and a high level of confidentiality whilst enabling the sharing of facilities. The meeting, kitchen and client facilities are shared, which facilitates staff interaction and collaboration. As both businesses are call-centre based, a space optimisation exercise was undertaken and a 1200mm wide desk footprint allocated to each member of staff.

The space was carefully planned to provide two distinct office environments, ensuring confidentiality and brand separation, alongside high-quality shared meeting, kitchen, and client facilities that encourage collaboration and interaction across the group.

Through a detailed space optimisation exercise, the layout was designed to support the call-centre nature of both businesses, allocating a 1200mm desk footprint per workstation to maximise efficiency without compromising comfort. The resulting environment supports current operational needs while allowing flexibility for future growth, delivering a practical, professional, and scalable solution within budget.
