The Brief

LeoVegas UK is a Newcastle-based company providing managed services exclusively to the LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group.

These managed services cover a wide range of business functions from marketing (both acquisition and retention), anti-money laundering, customer service, graphic design, software development, user experience and safer gambling to name just a few.

The Newcastle-based UK hub has grown from strength to strength with 100 employees providing services for a portfolio of online casino, bingo and sports brands.

Brand continuity was a key consideration for the brand, so the new office decor had to compliment the style of existing sites within the business. The team at LeoVegas wanted to create a stylish, dramatic and luxe-feeling space, blurring the lines between home and work and giving the team somewhere to be really proud of and enjoy working from.

Within the LeoVegas family there are a number of sub-brands, including Bet UK, so as part of this evolving project, we were tasked with differentiating the design and flow of Bet UK spaces and translating the difference in this brand from the wider LeoVegas design.

The Solution

The design and fit-out of the LeoVegas office space were approached incrementally, starting with high-footfall areas such as the main reception, meeting rooms and the wider office.

For the design, took inspiration from stylish hotel lobbies from around the world and added a playful take on the LeoVegas brand with the use of jungle-themed and tribal decor. The luxe element was added by the use of a mixture of furniture in soft textures and vibrant colours, adding quirky features wherever possible to really up the opulence factor.

We also kept it sustainable by repurposing existing furniture where possible and utilised natural textures such as concrete-effect wall coverings to add contrast to the bold LeoVegas brand.

For the Bet UK allocated space, the concept was centred around a pub theme, with playful design, the addition of a pool table and a more masculine feel versus the LeoVegas wider office.

The Finished Project

This project delivered a bold and immersive office environment that clearly reflects the LeoVegas brand. Designed and fitted out in phases, the space takes inspiration from luxury hotel lobbies, combining playful jungle and tribal influences with soft textures, vibrant colours and distinctive furniture to create a sense of opulence. Sustainability was considered throughout, with existing furniture repurposed and natural finishes such as concrete-effect wall coverings used to balance the strong brand identity. A contrasting pub-themed concept was introduced for the Bet UK area, adding a more informal, masculine feel. The result is an eye-catching, welcoming and practical workspace that emphasises comfort, functionality and brand character..
