Ben Johnson Ltd were appointed by Maquet to develop and supply the office furniture for their new UK Headquarters at Boldon Business Park. Having invested a lot of time and money into refurbishing and extending their existing premises, the furniture had to be something unique and unconventional to reflect this.
As their chosen furniture consultant we worked closely with Maquet to develop their furniture scheme. We were responsible for providing furniture for the reception, meeting rooms, open plan offices, directors offices and breakout area. A customised Senator Bench was the chosen desking product with a white MFC top and black edging, black framework and black Perspex screens.
Flexible return storage with yellow upholstered seat pads for impromptu meetings were used throughout, adding a splash of brand colour to an otherwise monochrome scheme. HANDS Transcend tables were chosen for the boardroom; an ideal choice for a client who wanted an impressive boardroom feel but with the flexibility to reconfigure the rooms in various ways. Other distinctive furniture pieces included an angular bespoke reception desk, customised directors Office furniture and high back sofas in the open plan breakout areas.
