Ripe (previously JRW Group) were expanding in Manchester and appointed JLL to Project Manage the process. JLL were looking for furniture providers for the project and Bluesky Design who were completing the Interior Design Package recommended Ben Johnson Interiors.
We were provided with space plans and product specification for the new breakout area and were asked to visit site to ensure all the new workstations matched the existing ones.
The site survey showed that the project was not as straight forward as we had first thought. As Ripe had expanded over the years they had bought various desking and storage systems. We had to work closely with Bluesky Design to co-ordinate where best to use the existing and new workstations to achieve the best possible match.
The desk screens in particular were a challenge as there was a variation in height that had to be accommodated. The installation also had to be coordinated around a phased refurbishment program. We worked closely with Bluesky Design, JLL and the appointed contractor to ensure all the critical milestones were met on time and within budget.
