Equifax Inc. is an innovative global information solutions company and consumer credit reporting agency, collecting and aggregating information on over 800 million individual consumers and 88 million businesses worldwide. The company’s data assets, technology and analytics provide insights that power informed decisions.
Equifax approached three design and build companies to tender for the expansion of their Leeds office. Each was asked to plan a 15,000 sq ft workspace over one and a half floors at Wellington Place, Leeds. The design had to provide 174 workstations; a choice of informal breakout areas; kitchen breakout; and meeting rooms with good acoustics and AV provision. The design had to be aligned with the existing interior but was also to respond to the technology team’s specific requirement for more flexible meeting and project spaces.
Ben Johnson were recently commissioned to deliver a professional working space with a strong focus on ensuring that the look and feel was entirely consistent with our existing offices, maximising the space to allow for modern flexible work spaces. A key element of this was the design and installation of a new auditorium space which was a first for Equifax.
Ben Johnson listened closely to our requirements, delivering a space on time, to budget and with very few obstacles along the way. The entire process was a pleasure and the space has been received brilliantly by the staff there who have embraced the new ways of working which the office now provides.
