Ben Johnson tendered and subsequently won the fit-out and furniture package for Parabola’s new office in Newcastle working alongside property agent Cushmond & Wakefield. The brief was to create a streamlined office with accents of bold colour. The client required the storage to be contained within one bespoke unit, away from the natural light whilst exploiting space available through the high ceiling.

The angular space pre-determined the best position for the desks, soft seating area, and storage. Bespoke joinery was designed and manufactured to cater for very specific storage requirements that would fit into the angular space. New air conditioning was fitted throughout, and feature lighting and acoustic rafts were fitted in selected areas. Contemporary design was selected in line with the company branding, utilising accents of colour with red pedestals and a statement light fitting as a showpiece visible from the main road. This contemporary backdrop was completed with the display of modern art throughout.
